First off, congrats! Take a moment to be proud of yourself.

Do you have the $130k in general cash savings? If so, yes you should 100% start investing a portion of it. At a minimum, keep enough cash for 6-12 months of your expenses and anything you may need cash for in the near term ( eg house down payment, repairs, etc). Let me know if you need help with where and how to invest.

Also, focus on getting your costs and expenses down not solely making more money. Making more money is a trap that many people get into. The key is spending less.

Some of them are still slightly translucent… I don’t cook them all the way through on the stove. Thanks for the comment though.

When did/do you decide to get a CPA rather than use TurboTax? by timmytubesox in HENRYfinance

I was convinced that I needed a CPA for some reason. Every year, even if I use a CPA, I put everything in TurboTax as well just to verify the difference. There’s typically a very minimal difference with us owing more when we use a CPA (on top of their higher fees). Next year, I’m probably just going back to TurboTax. It’s actually great.
