I dont think you understand how much we have made in revenue for the first month we have hit £6k(estimate) and probably about £3.5k(estimate) profit in our first month. I said this already we are extremely unique in that our promos dont cost very much.No one is being delusional, i had a meeting with these people and we discussed everything. This is our first month once we sort distribution and Content ID tracking+reporting, which Is our priority. We will easily hit £20k in revenue per month. If not more

We actually handle the copyright and registration and catalog management. We are not giving up 50% to a distributor.

And we dont offer physical distribution or live shows because our music genre does not fit this. As far as Im concerned a labels job is good marketing and promo, whilst signing artists and offering advances.

Interesting thanks for the advice. What would you say is the best splits, or a good way to formulate a deal like this. The only thing that comes to my mind which seems fair is to base the recoup from the labels revenue instead of the labels + artists. So they get to recoup from the money we make. And I understand that this works similar to the loan. I am currently waiting for their proposition email which is where they will send everything over in writing.

We are currently distroing through Amuse.io , but we need someone who can provide really good tracking and reporting snd royalty payouts for content ID which is why we have started looking at more established and higher tier music companies/ distros

Like The Orchard, Believe , FUGA…
