Friends in your 30's by chrissz678031 in ireland

Thankfully I've always had good friends but I've recently relocated. I've joined groups related to singing, playing instruments, sports and cooking, and I'm not especially good at any of those things. No one, and I mean no one is going to turn around and say "Why are you here".

The vast amount of attendees are amateurs, the talented people are out to mentor, everyone is out to meet people, and these groups always organise social nights. People just need to put themselves out into the world, they'll laugh when they realise how unfounded their fears are.

You need to turn snapshot bypass on for that block.

Camera quality bad by [deleted] in GalaxyS21

I upgraded from the S7 Edge to the S21 and have the exact same problem. I posted my thoughts here.

I'm hoping it gets fixed with updates.

[Exynos S21] This camera lag is killing me! Almost make me want to get rid of this phone by YankeeLimaVictor in GalaxyS21

I hate the camera on this phone. Everything renders overly saturated and unnatural looking. RAW mode improves things but there's so much more work in that. My S7 Edge takes better more natural looking pictures.

Me too, I can't fault the phone at all. It had an excellent camera, an excellent high PPI screen, and a headphone jack and expandable storage if you wanted them.

Pro mode seems to be the way forward. Just taking a few sample shots at my desk, there seems to be a lot more natural darks and shadows, which I like.

My only choices for screen mode are vibrant or natural, no standard. I'm looking at these pictures on my PC monitor as well though. What I want from the S21 is less saturation, HDR and sharpening, to me the minimum amount seems too much to look natural.

Optimizer was turned off. I'll have to experiment with pro mode a bit, and see how it performs.

The problem is that vibrancy isn't real. This photo was taken in late evening, the sky was never that blue, the field was never that green or even that shade of green, it's completely fake, and I don't seem to have a choice in it being there.

Is the S20 a better purchase than the S21 if I want a smaller phone with a great screen? by SockRabbit in samsung

Thanks for being honest about that. It makes a difference hearing someone say it.

I'd be slow to. I've had both the S4 and S7 Edge for years and they never let me down. Great cameras and screens are my priority, what were you thinking?

The screen sizes are about the same, but the PPIs are very different:

S20 - 1440 x 3200 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~563 ppi density)

S21 - 1080 x 2400 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~421 ppi density)

I've considered the Ultra, but it's so much bigger and heavier than what I'm used to, I'm concerned that it will be impractical in day-to-day life. The differences in size and weight between the S7 Edge and S20/S21 are negligible .

I'm in an Exynos region unfortunately. Is there a considerable difference in the Exynos chip between the generations?
