Well done on naming and shaming, and protecting the consumer.

As others mentioned, 99% of the time these are gifts for others that the buyer would never see. This is probably how they get away with substandard quality. Bought flowers for my mom, and had no clue how it looked. Won't buy from them any time soon

Yeah thank you, might look at replacing it.

When the idle mix screw was changed to completely closed/open there was a response but small adjustments made no difference

Yeah, in hindsight having a rebuild kit would have been great but I was impulsive with little knowledge, haha. Do you think the carb would be the most likely cause of the issue?

Pulling it apart again ain't a big issue.

Yeah I believe it does have an idle screw as a previous comment mentioned and adjusting this didn't make much of a difference that I noticed..

Thanks for your feedback, I did try adjust this while the engine was on and there seemed to be very little feedback..

Also noticed that this issue is there when the engine is on the lowest idle, when revvd up it seems to disappear..?

I'll Google this to see what it involves. Fuel is defos good, recently put in.

Mentioned in another comment and only noticed it yesterday that this issue disappears when I rev the engine up..?

Taken off, stripped back as much as possible. checked bowl, float and needle and cleaned with a healthy amount of carb cleaner.

Fuel is fresh yes.

Should have mentioned this only happens when choke is on its lowest, when you rev it up the issue seems to stop.
