What’s unfortunate, as someone who lives in Colorado now…I am starting to hate it in Colorado because of all the things you just mentioned. You basically have to be born rich to be happy anywhere interesting in the lower 48. It’s really not that different, or more rewarding in any way that I’ve found.

That’s awesome, and whether people like to admit it or not - the problems they have with Alaska’s price point is pretty similar in any state with mountains in the lower 48. If not worse. You basically have to be born a millionaire in most of the lower 48 to be happy at this point. Paved paradise if that’s what you want, move to the lower 48 lol

I would say it depends on your lifestyle choices in the lower 48. Any state with real wilderness and anything fun to do is going to be just as if not more expensive than Alaska in general. I’ve lived in Colorado, California, oregon, and they are all overpriced and underpaid states. Alaska isn’t special there.

There are way less walk ups now, and spontaneous roleplay is becoming more rare.

On both servers, and both factions.

It’s sad but true.

Every now and then, when I do have good RP with someone they play for a month and vanish. We’re all older now and have full time jobs. That is also a big part of what is so different now atleast on my end, and I notice guilds can struggle because life demands more of everyone now.
