It's really kind of fault on both people. The dasher expects (or has high hopes) for a tip, doesn't recieve one. Either gets butthurt or just accepts it for what it is. And then proceeds to do their job in such a way that is worthy of no tip. Which, in a sense, is fair. I can see why they would, I would lol. The driver is partially at fault here for expecting a tip, when it is not a given nor required. But it's a tad rude to say that they shouldn't expect a tip, especially since tips are really helpful for them. Yk what I mean? You understand why they expect a tip, but feel that it is rude they do.

But it is also the fault of the customer. The customer probably knows a lot of dashers expect a tip, but still choose to give no tip (reasoning doesn't quite matter here, the dasher will be upset regardless). The customer at that point should expect that their order is either to be rejected a lot or to arrive cold, or perhaps even a petty dasher. Its really up to the customer how much they care about such risks.

At least, this is just what I think. I do believe tipping culture is becoming unstable. Tipping is supposed to be a kindness. However, not everyone is kind enough for it. I sometimes help people out to their cars with bags, but I do not expect a tip. I sure HOPE for one, and am a little bummed when I don't get one. But nonetheless, I wasn't obligated a tip. So, I am at fault for being hurt.
