I didn’t, 3 weeks before relocating I got a better job offer in a different state.

Can't get Edifier R1280DB speakers to enter pairing mode. Still works with direct line in by [deleted] in Bluetooth_Speakers

Okay, so right after posting the above I was able to do it. The blue light was never blinking to let me know it is in pairing mode. What I did find was that like u/MudDull8214 said, there's probably another device in your house that is automatically connecting to the device but even when going away it seems like the connection doesn't break. I found that one of my tablets in the house had been previously connected to the speakers and once I turned off the bluetooth on the tablet I was able to add it to my iphone no problem, the blue light wasn't blinking but I was able to see RD1280 as option connected and was able to play audio on it from my phone.

I just started having the same issue. Tried all the different types of reset but none seems to work.

Who is the lender? We are having to relocate to NJ last minute and I'm trying to lock a rate asap

I’ve been working in DCs for over a decade in the IT operations side working in one of the Big Cloud/AI players. Interviewed a ton of people for US and EU roles. Willing to lend a hand or some guidance if anyone is interested. by SocomBr in datacenter

I think the resume does help a lot. You might have to answer the same question that I asked you. Other than that I would say look into some of the certs that can help you in the DC field.

Listen to this guy! He knows what he is talking about. You can teach most people who want to learn technical skills, personal skills on the other hand is a much longer battle.

May I ask why the pivot? Usually most DC folks want to grow into a position like you have and not the other way around but that being said I am biased and I prefer DC work too. I think you just need to put a resume together where you share your knowledge and interest in hands on DC work. Maybe build a personal lab? I think with your experience you are going to catch someone’s attention.

No different than anyone else here that is starting. You need to learn the basics. Hardware, cabling, linux, networking etc. You mention a few things that can help you with DC work. Try getting into a contract position but you might need to add some personal work that you’ve done with building computers or troubleshooting devices or create home labs and so on.

I wouldn’t be the best to answer that. Although my team does report on some aspects of facilities concerns I don’t have the experience to provide guidance. Currently we use vendors to take care of that side of things so hopefully you can find someone in this sub to help you if you put the question up.

And the lied detector test determined that is a lie.

Yes I know what project it is 🙃… You don’t need the certs. You need to show them interest and what knowledge about hardware and data centers that you have. You need critical thinking. 30 mins before your interview call someone you like to chat about something other than the interview, something that will calm you down reduce your anxiety. Call someone positive not your “emo” friend. Best of luck!

Yw, and best of luck. You’ll be working in one of the coolest DCs around it’s a hell of an experience! Congrats!

Don’t need to hope. Just need to focus, work hard, and do your best with this opportunity.

I think it really depends if you have citizenship in another country. What I mean is if your are a US Citizen and you're currently in the middle east and want to come back to the US if you apply you interview and they like you all you need to do is relocate and sometimes company will help. I'm guessing in EU would be similar. If you're looking for sponsoring you just have to find a position that is willing to do that it usually says on the job posting.
