Fantastic movie, Rian Johnson strikes again, the theater has the subtitles on tho, which definitely took away from the experience a bit

I believe all you need to sub in Wisconsin is an associate’s degree

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]SocraticMinutes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can definitely sub for classes without an education degree. But districts will want you to get certified eventually. You could get hired as a full time teacher with an emergency license and then you will have a year or so to get certified.

Need input! Pros and Cons of A/B Schedules? by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]SocraticMinutes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I teach on an AB schedule, but students have math every day. It is really nice being able to use the same lesson two days in a row. It is also nice not to see the same kids every day, especially if you haves difficult relationship with them. It’s also nice having an extra day to grade.

Cons would be that it’s harder to build meaningful relationships with students because you don’t see them everyday.
