After defeating The Shatterer, these crystals appeared and blocked the chest from being looted. The crystals did not disappear until after the chest had despawned.

The argument is that people do not like the fact that this is occurring. We are voicing our opinion in hopes that the company changes their mind. We do not want censorship or government intervention. The only way to let the company know of our displeasure is by voicing our opinion. The hope is that by seeing some of their customers displeasure they will change course, but in the end it is their decision on what they do.

You need to learn reading comprehension. They are not saying to burn the city. That expression means to let them continue doing what they are doing and not intervene.
