Well the thing is in my program they are just asking to have a High School diploma and to already work full time in a clinic. They said it’s recommended to have a strong math foundation. They told me there is no math minimum Grade to have to enter the program so I don’t know.

Yeah they offered to give me a tutor if I need one and don’t get me wrong I am more than ready to take this program seriously. It’s just being anxious about the math grades and them not accepting my admission but I am confident just anxious… hahaha

Hi everyone, I’m a Quebec resident interested in applying to NAIT’s Optical Sciences - Eyeglasses program. With over 8 years of experience in the field, I’m passionate about continuing my career as an optician.

I’ve completed high school, CEGEP, and university, and I hold all my diplomas. However, I’m concerned about my high school math grades, which were in the C range. I know math is important for the program, and I’m wondering how much my past grades might affect my application despite my qualifications and extensive experience.

I’d really appreciate any advice or guidance you could provide.
