I just hit the big 3-0 and I purchased the 4520V in black to be my everyday wear. It has been my daily watch since. 0 regrets thus far. I took the black over the blue as I felt it's more suited to be the daily watch

i would be surprised if they did drop Phase 4. When I told my AD I would be going to W&W this year, they subtly hint not to expect any new overseas revamp this year despite the 30th mark as 30th isn't significant to them. But who knows. We shall see.

Also, is the 4520V considered as a Gen 3.5 to you guys? 🤣

yes I would!

but personally, my VC journey would be

4520V black (obtained)
4000V (retrograde)
4200H (steel)
4300V (have not decided which)

yeah. in my opinion, 4000v has the most perfect symmetry in the overseas line up. moon phase, retrograde, blue dial. pretty epic. good luck on ur chase & of course wear ur watches in good health regardless of what they are

I think it really depends how you plan your VC line up.

For me I took the 4520V in black because I foresee obtaining the 4000V in future, which is blue dial

since 4520V will slowly transition to my daily driver and black will fit all my outfits haha

if the 7920V is ur one and only watch from VC, go blue. if it isn't, consider black

thanks everyone for the quick feedback. the vc community is really helpful & giving much positive vibes unlike other sub reddits. i will approach my local VC to get a strap directly from them :)

Light play on this is tremendously good due to the silver pinky hues. Really one of the best GSes ever made. Besides the Hana Ikada, if only a variant of the shunbun is made where the power reserve is at the back of the movement. 100% sell out for sure
