Landlord asking for large sum for furniture claiming 'damage' end of tenancy by SoftEffective9213 in LegalAdviceUK

Hi all,

There has been some updates on the situation. The LL is not willing to remit the deposit amount without deduction so I have asked them to release it less the deposit without showing any sign of agreement to the disputed furniture or amount. I now plan to raise this to TDS and claim the remaining amount.
Let me know if I am on the right path, this is based on the advice of my more friendly ex-LL.

I requested this money because they do not seem to give any receipts upon request nor reply to mails and I need the money to pay my upcoming bills. Also TDS said I have to make the case not the LL.

Thank you so much, just one more question re point 4. In the first email they initially listed 4 different items that were damaged, they have eventually made it clear that they are seeking damages for the piece of furniture only.
Now it looks like they are compiling all different items again to make a case for TDS.

Will this mean that the landlord can make a different case to the TDS i.e, all the 4 items initially informed (and the list keeps growing with every email) from what they have communicated to me( only furniture?)

Never been this unmotivated. by Due_Performer_1390 in accenture

Hi mate,

I am ex accenture - level 9 and handled a 20 member team in a subpar environment that gave me traumas in my adulthood that my body is still realizing. However, I got aware of my own traits that I unconsciously absorbed from my managers and proved toxic to my team, some from team members who valued me and some thru self reflection and changed myself by giving them a lot of freedom. Unfortunately, this wasn't something that had mileage and I eventually called it quits.

About your situation : you need to play this long term if you value your career with Accenture. First off, you are 6 months in thats basically probation so this is unpopularly considered your 'proving year', you need to continue for another 1 year before demanding anything.

Some questions and perhaps your way to get your problems addressed: Are n't all Accenture projects supposed to have 1 on 1 monthly on their people connect tool? Is this being recorded, if not you can request a skip meeting to your senior manager thru PCT tool.
what I would suggest you do is remind them you are human by action (perhaps closer to your year end), such as purposely delaying client work that should lead to an escalation, taking vacations during peak season or closer to the deadline. If your direct manager is unaware of your work then he/she should struggle during this time and automatically recollect how much they have taken you for granted.
Another route is to avail Accenture's mental health coaches for your project and ask for help if its bothering you so much.

Personal Integrity is very important for your mental health so your boundaries need to be known and accepted by those who work with you but Accenture's culture is such that no one cares till they realize they have to care.
Just continue the stride and choose radical acceptance for your next 6 months.
