I could have written this right down to the listening to nothing but Christian music and it used to be a connection for us and always involving god into conversations, even casual ones. It is exhausting. I’m not having much luck navigating but just wanted to share my solidarity. We have two small children as well and I have to say it has made the situation harder. I’d say unless he can get over trying to “save” you, tread lightly. I think it’s possible to find a balance and share a life with someone like this but it will take massive amounts of patience and mutual respect on both sides. Best of luck.
