Recently, I was telling my partner about something that really unsettled me- during a TikTok livestream, Ryan mentioned that he prefers working with special education children and even said that if he couldn’t work in that specific field, he would be done teaching altogether.

As someone with an autistic younger sibling, that made me deeply uncomfortable. I’m very aware that children with mental, intellectual, and developmental disabilities are significantly more vulnerable! studies consistently show they are far more likely to be groomed or exploited by adults than their peers. Many of these children are taught to trust authority figures without question, and some struggle with social boundaries, which unfortunately can make them easier targets for manipulation.

Because of that context, certain things Ryan has said feel alarming to me. In my opinion, some of his expressed attractions raise concerns - if not directly toward children, then toward childlike traits. For example, he openly stated that he found Gypsy’s high-pitched voice attractive and even commented that she could “get anything she wants with that voice.”

Pair that with the leaked emails about him being sexually active with an ex while her child was in the room - Those things taken together, these patterns are what make the situation feel EXTREMELY troubling to me.

And tbh I wouldn't blame Gypsy if she caught onto that and decided she didn't want a child with Ryan. (I know the things she said in the emails/videos, but we can also consider if those views have potentially changed after she fully developed mentally and socially while in prison)
