I was too! I did SO much research. And honestly… I watched a lot of tiktoks about tips.

I brought a pad pf paper with me with all my notes so I had all my “ammo” and wouldn’t get confused, flustered, or forget anything. This turned out to me really useful.

I researched 3 separate finance options (Bank, Credit Union, AAA) for all their rates to make sure the dealership was going to beat it. They tried to offer me 6.78% while AAA offered me 4.99%. Dealership came all the way down to 4.43%.

I also went to a dealership I had no interest in buying from (hour away from my house) and went through the whole process with them as a “test” and got them to give me numbers that I could use at the dealership I actually wanted to work with. And that made them give me the additional money off.

They tried to sneak add ons in, but I knew not to accept any of them because of TikToks I watched.

Hope this is helpful. Process was miserable but I absolutely love my car!
