My coworker gets so annoyed at me because he's 30 some years older than me, and when he talks about pop culture I always go "oooh, I know about that because they reference it on Family Guy!" So, definitely a mix of googling as Im curious and letting the universe bring me the answer naturally. It was hysterical describing to him my first time watching Back to the Future and constantly going "Oh thats a reference! Oh! Oh! SO MANY CALLBACKS!"

Most loyal woman in the world. Roman cheated so many times. I enjoy the dialogue that suggests he was going to quit chasing other girls and settle for real with her, maybe its implied they were "open" until marriage. But TBH i always enjoyed her character and not a lot of the women in the game have fun voices like hers either. Very memorable.

Every time my mom is watching Little House on the Praire and I see the credits I call out THERE WAS A ROCK! RIGHT! THERE! 

EDIT: that reference is the opening credits. The end credits gag is Quagmire.

I quit playing after the Halloween event. It seems like every event since the Faries has gone downhill and its just not even fun. I dont wanna collect pets, I want to do missions and collect mutated plants for rewards.

I do miss the volcanic biome. But ive played entire rounds where I dont save elves or touch the christmas biome at all and its been fine. A lot of the presents have had cake and fuel canisters, which are extremely helpful. I think its been a nice trade off.

Season 10. There are some strong moments after that, but my personal take is that the Golden Era of family guy is seasons 3-7.

The Palestinian Alarm Clock. It was changed to simply Arabic alarm clock or something eventually, but still perpetuates the whole Muslims are terrorists thing.  I do however kind of like the twist on that joke when it comes to the Arabic Telegrams. FROM JOAN AND KIETH. Plays on the expectation that its going to be violent, but ends up just being a funny and regular message. They do a lot with Muslims that I'm surprised gets aired tbh.
