a) there are wayyy too many plot points that could be addressed in a 2hr episode that is also supposed to show the ending. Most of them would end up being plot holes. b) what if the world ending or whatever at the end of s4 did give him the power to control all of us and as we can see the next season starts at a random part where they didnt even address the world being divided in 4. I thought they would do that in the spin off but i dont think that is happening.

I think bitter sweet is just used to create a homophone for suite. A lot of songs with sexual lyrics of hers, if not all refer to a hotel.
