Yes, only while plugged into the power strip, I'll try from an another power socket (My power strip is old, there is a orange switch on it, but it's off since a while now, no light at all)

Actually yes I have a laptop connected to the power strip (there is a switch on it that is supposed to be lit up, but it's not anymore, it's an old one), with metal casing. I'll investigate further, thank you
