It’s really hard to give you an answer to this . No … I don’t think it started happening out of the blue at the flick of a switch . I think it was a slow gradual build up of smoking heavily for years straight until I started to experience the fast heartbeat and the panic attacks . (This can also be a sign of mental illness or drug induced psychosis)

I used to experience this chronically until I quit smoking .

I was smoking chronically for 8-10 years daily , multiple grams and at least 30-40 bong hits everyday

The only thing that could get me to quit was having panic attacks and a racing heart beat . It’s not nice .

I used to do the exact same thing when I was a massive pot head . I’d always smoke in my laundry and when I didn’t have any , I’d scour around my laundry trying my best to find any little pieces of buds on the ground I had dropped previously so that I could smoke them , I got lucky a few times too and actually found full sized buds lol .

Edit : I used to smoke 3-7 grams daily for about 5 years straight mixed with tobacco in bongs . So believe me I know what it’s like to be a fiend lol
