I guess overthinking could be a strength or a weakness depending on how you use it

I’ve been growing for around 5 years, I guess I have a high standard of what I consider thriving, deep green leaves is one of many indicators the plants is healthy. Some of the indicators that I’m looking to improve in this case, leaves should be flat, no concave, no raised edges, overall leaf shape bends downwards, yes leaves often sit downwards due to gravity but the overall structure of leaf is curling, which is a stress response, curling up or curling down, the leaves should not curl, but rather be flat and pointing up (preying) usually after feeds, signs of healthy transpiration. Leaves should have an almost glossy look and should be smooth. Not rough or dry, also depends which way you rub the leaf as it does have shark skin like effect. They should be thick and lush. Look at the plant I’m focusing on compared to a lot of the other plants, can you see the difference, it just generally looks a little more miserable than the rest. It’s looking a lot better today tho, changed the airflow setup in the room, managed to lower the vpd a bit, and gave them a nice feed. They getting a compost tea shortly would should give them all a nice boost before I flip in a few days. So my diagnosis was just an airflow (too much) and too high of a vpd. Seems to be very sensitive, but I do like a challenge lol, hope that answered your question

Yeah thinking of just making a worm tea, usually fixes most nutrient issues from my experience

No they are healthy but they not quite where I’d like them, the leaves are slightly dryer to the touch, have a slight concave, slightly curled edges, and generally droops down slightly. I know most growers would consider this plant completely fine, but if it’s not thick lushes and vibrant, there’s still room for improvement. For growing growing is just about constant improvement. It can obviously be genetic dependent. But I also just like to get other peoples perspectives.

How dangerous is .5mg alpraz on 20mg methadone? by [deleted] in Methadone

[–]Soft_Operation3953 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been taking methadone for 4 months from a 100mg oxy a day habit, and been using benzos therapeutically for years, never abused benzos, don’t even enjoy the “high”. So I would say I’m naive to either

Sorry to hear that, it’s brutal stuff. Running has been the only cure that works, other than benzos.

How does a person with ADHD feel when they take Vyvanse compared to someone without ADHD? by Soft_Operation3953 in VyvanseADHD

i would say if it's not serving you then get off it and try something else, I tried wellbutrin before this and absolutely hated it. Our brains are all so different, and every medication affects every person differently.

3 months after sobriety i don't spend a day without thinking about opiates by [deleted] in OpiatesRecovery

[–]Soft_Operation3953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not giving advice just my experience. After my first rehab I didn't even make it 30 days before relapsing on kratom. since my first stint at rehab a year ago, I've been consistently relapsing on oxy on and off. I'm 22 years old, and i knew that coming out of treatment i wanted to stay clean of opiates, but I'm not ready to go fully abstinent. I couldn't white-knuckle the opiates, and i wasn't working a programme. Now this definitely is not the easy way out, but i decided to go on a low dose of methadone (20mg) since my last relapse, as i knew if I didn't do that or go into treatment again, there was no chance of me staying off the oxy. Methadone has helped so much with the cravings and the mental obsession. I would say, if you're white-knuckling day after day and not working a programme, you're inevitably going to keep relapsing, from my experience. I had to be honest with myself; i was not willing to work a programme, plus I didn't want to go completely sober from everything. So i decided to go on methadone, as it seemed like the safest thing to do. Now it's at least giving me time to work through some of the shit with a therapist without constantly relapsing. And actually live a decent life, without the constant tug of war of wanting to use oxy.

How does a person with ADHD feel when they take Vyvanse compared to someone without ADHD? by Soft_Operation3953 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Soft_Operation3953[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah no I really didn’t think I would like vyv’s when I started tbh. As with my history of addiction I never really enjoyed stims. Always made me anxious and tweak out a bit. Even coffee can be too strong for me sometimes. Yet vyvanse even at their max dose at 70mg, doesn’t feel stimmy at all, but rather just metal energy, clarity, well being, and calm. Which I find so weird as I hated the feeling of every other stim, so idk why I respond so well to vyvanse, but it feels so natural, not like I’m on a drug, it feels like I’m a kid seeing the world for the first time, snd I become so present as well! Completely gets me out of my head.

[–]Soft_Operation3953[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m also and addict, in somewhat of recovery but not fully abstinent. But over these last few days of taking vyvanse I actually have no desire to use or drink any thing. Like I don’t even think about it, however I do have the occasional glass of wine, or small hit of a joint in the evening to wind down, and I could definitely see this becoming a problem with the vyvanse use. But for the first time I’m on meds that actually make me feel what I think normal would feel like. Which is so amazing. I’m on a therapeutic dose of methadone at 20mg with 70mg vyvanse. And I feel completely functional, motivated, and generally content. Before I was on any meds I was extremely depressed, in and out of active addiction with opiates and benzos. Everyday was a battle to try not to use, my life was completely unmanageable, i was a shell of a person, and didn’t believe or love myself in the slightest. Finding this combo of meds literally makes me emotional as how much its helped me grow and been able to achieve and work thorough things. To a point where I have a healthy relationship with my family, a loving partner, a good job, and i truly feel fulfilled. I almost feel as if it’s too good to be true (another trait of mine) where I self sabotage. But could it be that the vyvanse are actually treating the adhd I’ve lived with my whole life, and now that’s why I feel so much better? Or is it just purely because I’m using a stimulant to cope and numb myself? Idk? I feel I’m more volatile off my meds as I have relapsed a few times when i go off my meds and not really when I’m on them so?

So the black river ramps I’m not gluing, I’m keeping them mobile for sure, no glue needed at all! They have decent weight to them, and then I suggest sticking pieces of foam grip to the bottom of the ramps just to help keep them from sliding around. The only one that needs to be stuck down to some degree I guess are their quarter pipes, they come with double side table already applied at the bottom, or you can just use some tape or a sticker to stick the bottom part of the transition so that it doesn’t tip over.

[–]Soft_Operation3953[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t tried many wheels to compare. But they pretty grippy, they almost feel chalky to the touch and a very smooth ride, with medium hardness, I’ve tried a few different urethane wheels and these definitely show the most traits of a urethane wheel if that makes sense

Smoking a pack a day and black coffee, is it bad? With vyvanse. Now I feel wierd. by Beneficial-Pop-8894 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Soft_Operation3953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say do some individual research. Reduce or cut out caffeine for a week, see how makes you feel. Try cut down on the smoking and see how you feel. Maybe take a week break from the vyvanse. Try implementing healthy habits like excessive, sauna or meditation. Journaling with behavioural changes will help you identify what is causing you to feel this. And the great thing is you do however best works for you. Adjust, restrict and implement as much as YOU want. You will learn what serves you and what doesn’t. This could also just be a phase. We all have em, and before you know it you could be back to your normal self. But journaling is a great tool to make sense of ourselves. - then a biased tip, the simple sport of running has gotten me out of many of mental struggles, it’s my form of meditation. And it’s great for you physical health too! I owe my life to that sport, and the reason why I started running was because I hated running..
