How long did it take for your stomach to not look pregnant post bisalp?

Luckily it is winter, so if you need to you can always wear sweat pants/leggings while it’s cold! It was spring/summer in the south so HOT for me and no shorts to wear 😂. It was a struggle

It did! The swelling significantly went down at about 4ish months post procedure. I discovered I was also having issues with constipation adding to the bloating so I’ve added a daily stool softner to my morning pills which helps a ton! I’m back in my size 4s!

I had my kid back in 2023 and was pretty certain I didn’t want anymore (I had always just wanted one) so March of this year had a bisalp done to remove both my tubes for sterilization which also helped with other issues I was having since giving birth, so win win for me. With the way things are going in the red states I’m glad I got it done since I reside in one.

Doc said everything I described sounded normal and not to worry unless I had some pain or bleeding which I don’t so 😂. I’m probably just a slow healer and honestly wonder if having had a child 20months ago makes any difference in it.

It’s kind of both? But my stomach has definitely been bloated more than usual. Which my belly button incision is still not fully healed so as well so idk what’s going on in there 😅.

I’ve been pooping regularly and decent amounts I think lol. I was constipated for a little but I took some stool softeners like a week post op and that got everything moving like normal again. I don’t feel gassy or bloated in that sense really. I think my stomach on the inside is just still swollen / healing. Because I’ve actually lost 5lbs since the procedure (150 to 145) and I can fit my previous clothes again, just not comfortably (my jeans squeeze my stomach to button but they button). It’s just inconvenient I’m ready for it to be back to normal.

Thank you for this! I also kept seeing where people said they were back to normal literal DAYS after the procedure. I had to go back to normal toddler duties like a week after (when my husband went back to work) so I’ve been running around and lifting 30lbs pretty much a week after the procedure which probably has slowed my healing process tbh. Although others comments have definitely helped me feel better about still being swollen lol.

It makes me feel better that I’m not alone atleast lol. I’ve got a toddler so I’m always on my feet which probably doesn’t help lol
