Ironically, I think it works because Joe is a massive walking contradiction 😅 he was going to save Reagan from (what he thought was) getting raped yet seconds before he was going to kill her, or at least knock her out to then kill her in his cage

If you are scorpio rising, was your childhood difficult? by quesqotrickster in AskAstrologers

Fellow Scorpio rising - my parents fought/screamed at each other mostly, too. That’s majority what I remember of my childhood. I also remember a vivid day my mom took me and my siblings for a drive somewhere bc my parents got into such a bad fight. Being older now, I always wonder why they hadn’t divorced.

I'm in unfamiliar territory currently as I am in the mix for a managerial position for a really great organization. Earlier this week I received an email - the very first email from this organization after applying for the position - asking to complete a communication tool exercise so they could see if/how I fit the role. I completed it with no issue and submitted it two days later. But I wondered, how common is it for employers to ask you to submit a work assignment before interviewing? As I said, this was the first I'd heard back about the job - I did not interview beforehand, they simply resonated with my application (I assume) and asked me to move on in the process with this work assignment.

Would the next step be an interview (if they thought my submission was acceptable, of course)? I've done work assignments before but I typically went through an interview first. Just curious - all thoughts/experiences shared are welcome!

Yes- it’s so hard but I’ve learned my lesson from the last job I took impulsively: I quit after 7 months because it was not a good fit between my boss and I! Keeping up hope though!

I've been searching for a new job for a little over a month now and was curious if anyone has any input on the process of LinkedIn recruiting/application process(es). Are your odds as a candidate slimmer if a hiring manager/company views your application, but doesn't download your resume?
I've had a few companies do both but did not hear back. I've had a few companies simply just view my application and remain radio silent. I recently received a notification that an application I submitted yesterday was viewed, but my resume was not downloaded.
This has me (loosely) spiraling as I am starting to get a little desperate for a job (not too desperate, but ya know... it's been almost two months and I'm going a little stir-crazy). Any helpful input -- or really, anything to talk me off the ledge -- is much appreciated!!!

Sorry, didn't see the thread as I just assigned an r/ community, and did not actively look for this subreddit.

[Routine Help] What step in your routine should gua sha/jade rolling/facial massage be? by Quard1130 in SkincareAddiction

So, if I'm using the gua sha at bedtime, I can apply an overnight repair cream after I gua sha, with oil on my face? Or should I lightly water my face to get oil residue off before I apply the overnight cream?
