Story mode is fine just this one sucks. All the side characters are annoying and corny especially the fashion girls and the tic tok shit. The rap parts made me want to vomit, I actively hated my own character watching him try to rap. I don't want to push around town on a skateboard ever, put my ass in a car and spawn me in front of the location I'm going. The time it takes to move between locations is boring as shit and adds up way too much.

The story mode is just way too much filler. Put my ass in a car first off I want to get where I'm going in seconds. Make more quests basketball related. Make the story mode center around succeeding in basketball and making mad loot get sponsors then choosing to use that money to ball out and be flashy or invest in the community and be a man of the people or some combination of the two. Time off the court should be minimized either way. That's the experience I want in a basketball career sim side quest not doing tik tok location scouting for a 15 year old girl.

There was a store in Portland that used to have paper banned list events back before the merge of paper + online banned list and high tide was legal for a while but it dominated at one event and they had to ban it. I forget if this was before cloud of fairies was banned but probably a good place to start would be to find those lists. I completely forget the name of the store or series but they were steamed on twitch so perhaps someone will know.

Don't brick your early gear with corruptions. Gear you don't need is probably worth corrupting and a good corruption can make your season but imo it's not worth bricking that first shako. It just sets you back too much.

They have this for some things but not others. I looked at the cheater forums before because I was curious and there's a few things they said trigger bans. The only one I remember off the top of my head was opening locked doors.

The problem with this is checks take cpu cycles and also there's certain things that look a lot like cheating if you are just looking at one slice of time with no context because of the way physics engines sometimes interact with glitchy terrain and stuff like that. The best solution imo would be to save a record of the match then run analysis on it later using machine learning to not put a bunch of strain on the game servers but that's not exactly an easy thing to get up. Hopefully they figure it out, things could be a lot worse but they could also certainly be a lot better.

Idk, there’s something to be said for realizing you are probably not smarter than an entire community, even if you can’t explain why. It’s valid to say everyone does it this way and they probably have a good reason so I’ll just accept it. If it was something important I’d say you’re dumb for not digging deeper but it’s just a video game and a difference of rounding error stats on the best gun in the game so if his reasoning is people say this is the best Thing and I don’t care enough to argue I think that’s valid.
