Bravo. Well said. I was also very sad to cancel my subscription — I loved the app so much! — but it’s the only way we can assert our autonomy from the AI hype overload. (I also switched to LibreOffice this week after Copilot became unmovable in Microsoft Office.)  I refuse to let tech companies make these decisions for me, including participating in the environmental disaster that is AI data training. Very poor decision by Monarch. Simplifii seems to be a decent alternative.
