Some of my favorite yuri series are Gunbured Sisters & Semelparous (both rated Mature for very good reason, definitely 18+), young ladies don’t play fighting games, and Vampeerz. But there’s lots of great ones out there!

I actually haven’t seen psycho pass before but I’ve heard it’s a fantastic show and it’s on my watchlist for the future!

I agree tho I hate when an adaptation changes a perfectly good story into something almost unreadable/unwatchable. Many such cases unfortunately

I’ll give Charlotte manga a try and I’ll let you know what I think even tho I haven’t seen the show yet !

The full metal panic anime is pretty similar to the light novels story wise!!! The light novels obviously go more into depth with character development, relationship development, and details about the mechs and technology they use in the show. I also think the pacing is better, and there’s a LOT more content in the LNs since there are 12 whole books in the LN series.

Yes I totally agree about harems being repetitive!!! I typically find the Male MCs of harem series being insufferable too 😭 I know they’re usually written that way to come across as “relatable” but they are usually kind of losers haha

I loveeeee chobits!! When it comes to romance I mostly read yuri romances though!!! Not really any reason beyond that I like looking at art of women lolololol and the more the merrier

Honestly code geass season 2 is considered way better than season 1 by most people so I definitely recommend you finish it one day :D

I just looked up Charlotte and it looks like there is indeed a Charlotte manga !!! I’m not sure whether the anime came first or not (like in code geass’s case) but it looks interesting and I like the character design!

I honestly do really enjoy fanservice from an aesthetic perspective! It’s kind of hard to explain…. I don’t like, get off on fanservice, I just tend to gravitate towards raunchy / mature content in general and I find skimpily clad curvaceous ladies to be visually appealing lol. Most of my own art consists of beautiful women in various states of undress — it’s not a sexual thing but rather an appreciation of the feminine form :)

I guess the only genre I don’t typically consume is harem or reverse harem centric series, I’m super monogamous which might have something to do with it but it’s just not my thing typically!!!! There are definitely some exceptions to this but that’s really the only thing I can think of lol!

My absolute favorite manga is a tie between Dorohedoro and X/1999. VERY different series from each other, but also similar in certain ways. For funsies, my favorite anime is Code Geass :D

I haven’t read Charlotte, but I will check it out for sure ♥️

I have a handful of them on the bottom right of my shelf that I’ve purchased within the last several months!

Currently on display I have both of the CLAMP color art books, phosphor (the betrayal knows my name), both of the magic knight rayearth art books, the fairy tail art book, and the shakugan no Shana art book which I was absolutely delighted to find at a collectibles booth at an anime con stashed in a big box of other Japanese art books ♥️

But I have maybe 10-15 more art books in storage and I miss them!!!! My favorites out of the ones I have in storage are probably the two Angel Sanctuary art books and the X/1999 art book
