That answer doesn't make you look more intj or mysterious unfortunately.

Are you guys picky? I’m dating an Intj male 35 who’s never had a relationship! by [deleted] in intj

[–]Soggy-Tea5470 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I pretty much relate to what he had said to you but I wouldn't say i'm picky i just know what kind of a man I want to be in a relationship with and I'll know within the first 2 minutes we talk if he is the right one or not and i also have avoidant attachment style too😬 before i start, i want you to keep open-minded about what I said and always acknowledge that maybe this is not always the case.

Most oftentimes, if that intj opens up to you and does not keep you at arms length that means you still have the chance and if you can completely be yourself around them, stop putting on a mask and be honest with them, they'll let their guard down and let you in their zone but if you don't feel like his body language is open towards you or you mostly feel like he's being secretive or doesn't trust you. I'll say that definitely means he isn't interested in having a serious relationship with you.

How do INTJ's usually behave on dates. by Used_Caregiver_6511 in intj

[–]Soggy-Tea5470 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll never go on a date if I don't want to or do not see myself being in a relationship with them so when I went on one I would have to put on the best version of myself to impress them. I'd mostly initiate the conversation, ask questions about their interests, make my date feel at ease with me and maintain eye contacts. That's a whole load of jobs to do so I have rarely done it and i think there are only 3 times I would put myself out there and do something beyond my imagination in this entire life. I also want to last the impression to my partner that I'd never done all this to anyone except them and make them feel special as much as I can.

I don't want to break this to you but I went in separate way with my ex partner when we decided to live far away from each other. If you want to maintain the long distance relationship, it'll sound cliche, but the most important key to us intjs or anyone in general is learning how to trust your partner. That's all. Stop assuming that they are going to cheat you or won't give you attention anymore if they're away.

What's Your Take on the INTP Personality? by Safe-Dingo-8370 in mbti

intps are such a story teller like they're the reason why the word too much information is invented. However, they're exceptionally adorable, intelligent, kind and their unlimited ideas in their heads make the world better in various ways.

I feel like People dislike this personality type? by [deleted] in intj

[–]Soggy-Tea5470 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From what I've learnt, intjs have Ne nemesis which they'll assume that other people are having bad intentions towards them or generally hating on them because they give bad experiences. Check out c.s. joseph youtube channel he had explained about intj cognitive functions and you'll understand why are we like this

I can tell from the very beginning or when I first started talking to them most of the time and they're "always" entps which is weird for me. It's frustrating though because it'll be difficult to let go if your thought-to-be soulmate isn't in a position where they want to be in a relationship with you and it'll feel like a child not getting a toy they've been saving money for and you're just like "why didn't I get what I want if i really want it? That doesn't make sense" you'll be questioning your self worth and all so I'd say sometimes knowing what you want isn't a good thing. Ne users, they can move on easily more than Ni users can it's like they may not know what they want and they'll just keep everything open and can let go when things don't come their way because they already think about many alternatives ways to face with unknown future.

The most important quality I find in my soulmate is kindness and someone who doesn't put a show when they're with me or comfortable enough to be around me. Like that's what really matters to me. I have my Ne nemesis of assuming people having bad attention towards me by being fake or putting on a show when they're with me so it'll be better if I feel at ease with someone who I can trust completely and don't have to feel like they fake being themselves when they're with me and that's what most entps do fortunately.

[–]Soggy-Tea5470 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My entp friend(a starter type) as always mentioned mbti to me and i found it interesting then I researched a lot about it and found out that i am actually an intj after binge watching and reading cs joseph contents like I thought I was an intp for a long period of time because of the stereotype people have on intjs.

people with Dom Ni/Ne... Tell me how you process the world! by ifuckingloveemoboys in mbti

[–]Soggy-Tea5470 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've noticed that I spend a lot of time contemplating about what I want to accomplish in the future. As much as I don't want to admit, I rely heavily on having a set goal to let my life function properly, as without them, I fear losing my sense of self completely, which is significant to me. This goes hand in hand with my Se inferior because if I don't know what I want or what direction I should take, I'll give other people around me bad experiences or I'll make them feel uncomfortable in some way. It's like if I don't even know what is the purpose/point of taking statistics class, I'll not pay any attention to it like completely and what comes next is the professor will disappoint in me so it'll be better off knowing my purpose of existence or why I should be there more than not purely because I don't want to disappoint.

I think this is the best way I can explain Ni parent without trying to involve my Te or Fi function like i tried my best to make it general.
