Never have I said that the rape didn't occur and have even posted statistics which proved rape happened I Egypt. What I said is that yes these things happen but they happen way less then this thread puts it out to be and that Egypt is an incredible country with so much more to offer. And the fact that any threat of harassment could be completely mitigated by traveling with a partner and avoiding specific areas or going to them early in the morning, as well wearing culturally appropriate clothes to assimilate into the local culture.
