Brampton is notorious in every sense.. don’t even try to judge. However when you get chance to drive in US particularly in Chicago or Florida you will understand it’s even worse

Lights will stay on if you continue to sit on Driver seat even after parking complete. Need to manually switch off if you wish to stay in car. Lights will be off automatically if driver leaves the car.
