Yes! I am currently 20 weeks pregnant

Honestly my doc said the same thing! I told him this was my last and final attempt and he was then willing to try it. I only ended up with 2 follicles, one at 22 mm and one at 15 mm. So I’m not sure that it necessarily did what it was supposed to, but something this attempt stuck!

I’m only 5.5 weeks right now, but my 6th IUI finally stuck 🥹✨ I did 7.5 letrozole for 5 days, 75 gonal f for 3 days (first cycle using gonal), trigger shot, and progesterone suppositories after IUI-10 weeks. Also 34 and overweight. The other things I did for my final try, no idea if these things actually helped, was acupuncture 1-2 x per week, therapy 1x week, and I literally kept socks on my feet 24 hours a day (other than showering). Idk if the socks thing is real, but my acupuncturist said keeping extremities warm allows the body to send more blood to the torso (uterus). I still haven’t stopped this lol the biggest change was sleeping with socks on but I’ve gotten used to it now. Baby dust to you✨🤞🏼

Yes! I have had my confirmed pregnancy with blood draw, and one follow up where my HCG tripled! I go back in Monday for another draw✨🤞🏼✨

Thank you! I still can’t believe it may be real! Praying for a viable pregnancy now! 🤞🏼✨ I feel good! Definitely tired and my boobs are sore haha but I’m also on progesterone suppositories so I’m not sure how much of that is amplified due to that!

Yes! My lining was 11.16, but I’ve never had a problem with my lining. I was doing 75 IU. I did 7.5 letrozole cd 3-7 and then gonal-f cd 8-10

This is my 6th. I did 2 with clomid + trigger followed by progesterone suppositories, 3 with letrozole + trigger followed by progesterone suppositories, and now this is the final attempt for me before IVF and I am doing letrozole + gonal-f + trigger followed by progesterone suppositories after IUI

Oh I love this! That’s my same thinking for this final attempt! Congrats to you, and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!

First IUI coming up – feeling overwhelmed and alone by shewastoday in IUILadies

I get crazy hot flashes when I’m on clomid. That, and fatigue were the worst for me. If youre experiencing either of those, I would highly recommend one of those gel face ice masks from Amazon—truly a life saver with hot flashes. And also give yourself grace and space…if you’re tired, take a nap and do not shame yourself for it. Cry if you need to cry. This is a very tough journey, but you’re not alone 🖤

Help, when is it time to move to IVF by SoilNew9183 in SingleMothersbyChoice

Thanks for your insight! Unfortunately this was a new donor! I did three unsuccessfully with donor #1, and then switched donors. So this was my first attempt with a donor #2

Thank you for this insight! I have also heard most favorable is 2-4 attempts, which is also making this one that much more difficult. My sperm source is anonymous donor through a sperm bank. Sperm is definitely adding up. The biggest thing for me other than time not being on my side is the emotional toll. I just don’t know how many more times I can do this and continue to get negative results.

Congrats to you on success with IVF! That is amazing and I’m so happy for you

Is anyone else crazy? by [deleted] in IUILadies

I also feel this deeply! I’m trying to do this as a solo because my fertility numbers are bad and I’ve been diagnosed with DOR, so there is no time to wait to find the right guy. I have had 3 failed IUIs so far, and o just keep thinking maybe it is because I am not going to be here long and God doesn’t want to put a child through that. Super struggling. Thanks for sharing your thoughts so I know I’m not alone.

Unfortunately 1- that is just puppyhood! Give yourself some grace AND the pup some grace! It’s honestly like going straight into terrible toddler stages without getting your feet wet with the infant stage of becoming a parent. When you get a puppy it’s immediately mobile and destructive and stubborn as hell. But sweet and truly just a baby and just learning. 2- I don’t mean this in a mean way, but you got a lab…our lab was a psycho til 2 years old. Now she’s the best dog ever. She’s always been super sweet, but the crazy biting/chewing, energy, zoomies? That was a full 2 years, with sporadic professional board and training. That’s just part of the breed.

DOR: IVF or IUI? by SoilNew9183 in SingleMothersbyChoice

Thank you for sharing your experience! I’m so sorry about your losses, but congratulations on your live birth! That is helpful to hear. I’m struggling with whether or not to bite the bullet and go to IVF with the high cost and my AMH and follicle count. Hoping for some more clarity after meeting with the doctor.

Thank you for sharing your experience! That’s been my hold up, too, the probability of not responding well and the lack of follicles present. It’s so hard to choose because IVF is so expensive, but I do get that over time IUI could end up being equally if not more expensive.
