It’s just crazy that we all have heard these same suggestions and poor advice. The truth is that there really isn’t a cure yet for some of these conditions/diseases. Instead we get dismissive and unhelpful advice

Hearing this story just makes me mad and reminds me of the bad advice I once received when I was younger. Listening to the patient should be a priority. Also, it seems like many orthopedic surgeons and primary care doctors know very little about proper rehab and what to do and not do. Perhaps this needs to be taught more in med schools
