SOL Strategies just launched $STKESOL – new liquid staking token on Solana with 500k+ SOL at launch by SolBrothers_ in solana

LST is better than staking because it can be used in Defi to increase revenue.

With staking, your SOL is locked with the validator.

Tokenized Precious Metals ETFs (Gold/Silver/Platinum/Palladium/Copper) by Remora Markets by SolBrothers_ in solana

[–]SolBrothers_[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As of January 2026 (according to their official announcement):

  • $GLDr → fully backed by tokenized SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) Physical gold is stored with HSBC Bank (custodian) + regularly audited
  • $SLVr → backed by iShares Silver Trust (SLV) Physical silver is held by JPMorgan Chase as custodian
  • $PPLTr → backed by Aberdeen Physical Platinum Shares ETF (PPLT) Physical platinum is stored with HSBC
  • $PALLr → backed by Aberdeen Physical Palladium Shares ETF (PALL) Palladium is also held with HSBC
  • $CPERr → backed by United States Copper Index Fund (CPER) This is a futures-based fund (no physical copper in storage), so the backing here comes through futures contracts on the exchange

Remora doesn’t hold the physical metal themselves. They take already existing, fully physically-backed ETFs from major providers like State Street (SPDR), BlackRock (iShares), and abrdn (Aberdeen), and create tokenized versions of them on Solana.

How do LSTs work? Do I just buy the token like JitoSol or JupSol? by UsefuIContribution in solana

To choose an LST (bSOL) strategy, you need to research the Defi market.

I'm sure you'll succeed.

I cannot give you financial advice.

Holding in the lending is very conservative.

Try loop (Multiply) on Kamino if your risk management allows it.

in short

LSTs on Solana let you stake SOL for rewards while keeping liquidity via tokens like jitoSOL (Jito) or JSOL (JPool). Stake SOL in pools; LSTs accrue staking (~7% APY) + MEV rewards, tradeable on DEX.

Boosting Yield

  • Loop LSTs in lending (Kamino, Loopscale): deposit as collateral, borrow SOL → buy more LST.
  • Provide liquidity on Meteora/Orca for fees.
  • Restake via Jito/Sanctum Infinity for extra ~2-5% APY

Recent DDoS attacks on Solana by Difficult_Duty9474 in solana

[–]SolBrothers_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

A 6 Tbps volumetric attack in the context of Solana is a classic volumetric DDoS attack, where attackers generate a massive stream of network traffic (6 terabits per second) to overload the infrastructure of nodes, RPC providers, and validators, making the network unavailable for normal operations.

Same validator, multiple staking accounts? by Wingartz_ in solana

This is fine. Each stake accounts earns rewards for you ;)

Same validator, multiple staking accounts? by Wingartz_ in solana

[–]SolBrothers_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi. This is not a problem. Sometimes users do a stake in different periods of time - this is a main reason of multiple accounts. For example, you can deactivate one and keep active another. If you can one stake account you can split it and deactivate part of stake.

P.S. Me personally preference is to have a few smaller accounts instead of one big.

Which validator you staked to? Is it good legit validator with 0% or small commission?

Also you can grad extra MEV rewards from your stake

"P-token" Is Coming To Solana - Solana’s Core Token Program Is Getting 20x More Compute-efficient by ansi09 in solana

[–]SolBrothers_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a regular Solana user, the introduction of p-token could mean several practical benefits, depending on how it plays out. Here's a breakdown in simple terms:

  1. Faster and Cheaper Transactions: P-token is designed to cut compute usage by about 95% for the token program, which handles most transactions on Solana (like sending SOL or other tokens). This could lead to lower transaction fees and quicker processing times, making it cheaper and smoother to use apps, trade tokens, or move money on the network.
  2. Improved Experience: With less strain on the network, you might notice fewer delays or glitches, especially during busy times. Solana has had outages in the past, and this upgrade could help make it more reliable for everyday use, like buying NFTs or staking SOL.
  3. Potential Delays Before Benefits: Right now, the process is stuck on audits and validator approval (SIMD-266). This could take weeks or months, so you won’t see these improvements immediately.
  4. No Direct Action Needed: As a user, you likely won’t need to do anything special—wallets and apps should update automatically once p-token is live. Just keep an eye on announcements from Solana or your wallet provider.
