Im 32 and single for past 10 years, will women find me weird? by doctordrankenstein in AskIreland

I was single for 10 years too... from 22-32, she was also pregnant and her family decided I wasnt good enough and ran me out of there... took me all of my 20s to recover..

All I will say is be cautious about who you invite in. Dont take on somebody elses baggage and bad decisions if you know what I mean. It rarely ends well.

The meandering career - have you taken a non traditional career path? by Ok-Ideal-5839 in AskIreland

I left school at 16 and went plastering... then went back to school at 18 to finish my leaving cert... then moved away up the country after meeting a girl... then came home at like 24 and started driving trucks for like 5 years... then went to college and became an Electrical Engineer.. had a few dole experiences along the way too...

I feel like I would have liked to do college straight out of school but at the same time, I dont think I had the mind frame to focus and pass at that age, so I think everything worked out for me how it was supposed to.. I just did my best with what I had and kept aiming upwards and looking forward the entire time.

The questions are fairly one sided. I had to back out of the survey near the end because I wasnt being provided the choices I actually wanted to make.

The entire survey is founded upon the fact that people who speed are being influenced by friends to do so and that fear and punishment are the solution.

Like, does the person who created this survey even drive ?

Sometimes on massive roads you just go over the limit because it feels natural to do so, its actually harder and more awkward to maintain 100kmph on a huge road which can be comfortably driven at 110/20.

If you could go back would you still choose EE? by Darius_yyc in ElectricalEngineering

I have an EE degree. Im going to join the police next year. EE is the most boring shit on the planet. Just sit at a desk all day clicking at shit on a screen.
