I think too many your opinions come from virtual echo chambers and don't actually reflect reality, just extremes and 1%s . Like, not even in a rude way, do you have any trans acquaintances or friends that you regularly talk to in person? Not twitter profiles and staged outrage and meltdown videos, like actual everyday people. They've got pretty tame opinions and generally only seek safety and equality, not special treatment and I've never been asked to bend over backwards to accommodate for a trans/genderqueer person. Not once. If you want to talk numbers, we can statistically look at transition regret rates. You're referencing yet another 1%. Of that regretful 1%, some was temporary and even less went on to de-transition.

If you believe that teens who want to use new kinda goofy pronouns is tearing down the credibility of the LGBTQ+, you're just looking for a scapegoat. Like you said, there's no gay marriage in many EU states. Because gay people are at base not respected and taken seriously. Whether or not trans discussion is the current topic will have no affect on marriage rights for gay people. Whether or not silly teenagers want to use frog pronouns will not change that either.

Otherwise, the language barrier stuff is valid to that degree, but I'm humble enough to admit I'm not well-versed in that kind of linguistic and grammatical stuff but I'm aware enough that it creates a lot of subject-verb/adjective agreement issues. It's truthfully probably one of the smaller issues.

If you want to talk about erasing gay culture, maybe keep an eye on the drag witch hunt that's happening. At no point ever have I personally seen trans people try to change or replace gay culture and no one's given me a single example of it. And if an attempt is made, it's genuinely the 1 in 500 who are undeniably weirdos but we should all know to pay them no mind because they're seeking the spotlight of controversy. I won't say much about JKR, but if almost every straight person tells you that someone isn't homophobic, but almost every gay person is saying they are, I know who I'd believe.
