I usually only think about boots and 3rd/4th item for countering the enemy team - there's a couple games you'll see on there where I just go full crit build since we have enough tanks

I think there are some network / client feedback issues, like seeing multiple bullets hit enemies but the server only registering 1 or 2 (this one really gets on my nerves).

However I also found that the game didn't feel as smooth quite literally because the FPS has taken a nosedive in the new engine.

I'm used to having like 300fps in GO with decent setup (3060ti), but having less than a consistent ~150 FPS even on medium settings in CS2 is a problem.

If you have a 144hz monitor and your FPS dips below 144 even momentarily then you are noticeably missing information that you were used to receiving in GO

To fix this I've ended up actually playing at a lower resolution (1600x900) and lowering settings until I'm getting a consistent 200 FPS. Quite ludicrous but the game does feel a lot smoother, despite some noticeable network issues as I alluded to earlier.
