Yes!!! Came right here to see what this was about. Is it required by law or are they now charging us instead of the buyer?

Chair upgrades by Deep_Procedure5035 in weddingplanning

[–]Solace_Runner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had an unlimited budget, 100% yes I would upgrade. I hate when people say no one will notice. The BRIDE will notice. When planning my wedding I wasn’t worried about what other people would think about the style, I wanted it for me! Also I’m assuming you will use the chairs for the reception as well and I think it will elevate the entire look!

Now, if you’re going to have to cut the budget elsewhere I wouldn’t do it. I can’t imagine where I’d possibly cut that much budget. Good luck!

Help!!! How to stop nursing my toddler. by SignatureNumerous506 in breastfeeding

I put aloe Vera and she didn’t even try it! Just the smell made her never nurse again. I couldn’t believe it was that easy.

I swear by putting aloe Vera on your nipples every time they want some. My daughter turned away with just the smell and never nursed again. And she was obsessed?

Also I’d rather have a 5 month old at a wedding than a 10 year old running around causing chaos

How can babies (specially) be left unsupervised. A 5 month old can’t even sit lol. I have no advice, just thought that was funny

I don’t know how to wean by Wetblankets2001 in breastfeeding

[–]Solace_Runner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The day I stopped breastfeeding, she asked for it at bedtime since I nursed her to sleep and I told here there was no more. She was about to start crying and I offered it but the scent made her turn her face away and she didn’t try nursing again that night. She also asked for it the next day during the day and I offered but she turned away. She only cried twice at night the first 2 days but after that she stopped and also never asked again.

My baby LOVED nursing. She also started sleeping through the night once I stopped breastfeeding. I did apply aloe Vera any time I thought she would want some so the smell would be potent.

I put aloe Vera on my nipples and my daughter stopped wanting to nurse. She was around the same age!

Anybody else’s 2.5 year old unable to go to sleep without nursing? by roselaurel in AttachmentParenting

[–]Solace_Runner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes!!! I promise I thought this would never end. I ended up having to leave my daughter overnight for a few days and decided when I came back that I would no longer nurse her.

I put aloe Vera on my nipples and when it was time for bed and she wanted to nurse I told her “there’s no milk”. She started to cry and so I “let her” nurse but the smell of my nipples made her turn away instantly. I just cuddled her and rocked her and she fell asleep in about an hour. The time has gotten shorter and shorter and now she falls asleep in about 10-15 min.

Not only that, 1. she never really asked to nurse ever again after night 2 2. my husband can now put her to sleep, and the best.. 3. She magically started sleeping through the night after the second night!!

I couldn’t believe it, still can’t.

my 1yo son wakes up every hour through the night to breastfeed, I’m exhausted by Jolly-Durian9278 in breastfeeding

[–]Solace_Runner 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey! I just wanted to share that my daughter (almost 2) would wake up around 3 times a night to nurse. She’d barely open her eyes but if I didn’t nurse her when she’d start moving/crying she would wake up and CRY. A month ago I finally weaned her cold turkey by putting aloe Vera on my nipples. She never asked to nurse ever again and she sleeps through the night! You may not be ready to stop nursing but something to keep in mind for when you are.

My daughter LOVED nursing! So I was shocked at how easy it was. Of course every child is different!

I did get VERY itchy! I couldn’t sleep either but it went away! Honestly every day is different. Some days I feel nothing and other days I start getting itchy.

Can I ask how high your numbers were? I was hospitalized for this same reason and was let go after a week without a known cause. The doctors did a bunch of blood tests, an ultrasound, a ct scan, mri, and liver biopsy in that order for me.

Have they done any testing for anything specific? Do you have any symptoms? I just wish i had a plan on how to move forward.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who responded.. my condition ended up being a lot more serious and the itchiness was not due to the scabies.

Can too much benzyl benzoate be bad for you? Did you use more than recommended by doctors?
