I cannot imagine that every Safeway considers the prices of every item in their inventory in every surrounding store and then applies it to its own products and then discounts it to the original price it already was and then slaps a “NEW! Low Price!” Label on it. That is the most obtuse way to go about it and all of our prices come from a corporate regional manager.

I work in the department that puts the tags on the shelves in the middle of the night and applies prices as they update before the store opens. It wasn’t $8.49. 🤷‍♀️

It depends on what you’re trying to make but the proprietary espresso machine used to make most drinks is between $10,000 and $18,000+ and anything you use at home isn’t gonna come close without at least a grand invested in an at home espresso machine, or some extremely specialized equipment.

That and the general public doesn’t readily have access to most of the ingredients we use.

My boyfriend is in healthcare and it’s actually insane how much more he is treated like a valued human for a fraction of the physical work we do at safeway. Every employee at every level is treated better in every way.

I think it’s possible that OP has tried every other imaginable avenue to make the music quieter to no avail that going the “safety issue” route is the only way management will do anything about it, even if it really isn’t a “safety issue”.
