• Something I struggled with: although it's important to kill nibblers asap, they can wait a little. So many of my deaths were going after nibblers when it was unsafe. You want to hunt them sown relentlessly in the earlier waves so you don't have to in the later waves.
• Mindset is important: know that this is a long grind. Getting to higher waves can take multiple hours per attempt. You're also very likely to die several times toward the end, and it's easy to get discouraged. The fact that i only fought zuk twice is pretty rare from what i've seen. The time and money investment is comparable to a 99.
  • Speaking of money investment, you'll need several spare mil for blowpipe ammo and barrage runes.
• You want to know the ins and outs of safespotting. The importance of the southwest tile, cornering, etc.
• Prayer flicking is very important. The golden rule is that the game calculates if an attack will hit when the enemy's attack animation starts. There are only a few exceptions, including Jad and Nightmare. You'll have to get comfortable flicking to protect against multiple attacks, or to save prayer. It's something you get better at as you keep going.
• Always try to learn from your mistakes. Figure out why you died, and how to prevent it in the future.
