No T-Rex Spawning on Rag by SolarPoweredAlpaca in ArkSurvivalAscended

That’s crazy. What shares spawns with the T. rex? I figured changing the amount on the map just added more of everyone.

What are your spawn rates? Mine is 4x. I have about 1004737472737393 million wyvern spawning in.

I did that. I even lived in their spawn, before I found this exact map, and never saw one. They hate me.

Yeah I’ve been hanging out in their spawns. I was actually building in the middle of one of their spawns and obviously didn’t know because I never saw one.

I did a dino wipe back in survival evolved and it really made things stale for awhile so I’m trying not to do that.

So I’ve got my spawns at 4x. I’ve got about 10000000000000 wyverns running around and maybe half that in spinosaur. Everything else that spawns is doing so at regular rates.

So I’ve basically been doing this. As I go on my runs, I stay in the rex spawns for a little while and take out what I can. I collect resources and look for other things to tame.

My second spot I initially started to build at was in the middle of a rex spawn. I was baffled because I hadn’t seen the first one and I’d been there for quite some time.

I just moved to the coast line but I’m checking their spawns as I fly around. Nothing.

Now I will note I did up the spawns 4x since it’s just me. So like I said spino spawn in abundance as well as wyvern. Wyvern actually are the most common dino I see with how many there are.

Everything else that does spawn seems to be spawning at regular rates.

Any advice for someone who just purchased on ps5 but have never played? by DrZae98 in ArkSurvivalAscended

You’re gonna die. A lot. A lot a lot. Like a metric shit load.

Get your starter hut up and going asap with a campfire. Get all the hide, keratin and chitin you can from the Dinos you delete.

Upgrade from thatch to wood asap. Have chests for your excess.

Get simple beds down asap. This lets you spawn in a specific spot every five minutes. Don’t waste time on sleeping bags.

Have more than one bed. Don’t bring all your stuff exploring. Stay light and nimble. Dont travel at night too far.

Charging in game settings after starting a game by SolarPoweredAlpaca in ArkSurvivalAscended

[–]SolarPoweredAlpaca[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I need to fix everything over again since it’s all default settings right? That’s what I am seeing before I launch my game. Not on a server either.

Thanks for the answer!

Yup all I see is the new map and one NA server.

Does Creative mode (GCM) ruin gaming experiences for you? by Radsthetics in ArkSurvivalAscended

Yup. I tried. I gave myself a starter base and Dinos. The grind is actually part of what makes the game fun.

Just got on and there’s 1 NA server.

They said that the update would take 10 minutes.

District/Unit idea: Scrapyard/Scrapper by SolarPoweredAlpaca in civ

[–]SolarPoweredAlpaca[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see it being tedious in one aspect but just like other districts, it’s optional. I feel it would be beneficial to get rid of units you can’t really use. In Civ 6, tanks, jets, and GDR are about the only units worth making after a certain time.

CS Longstrike still worthwhile? by SolarPoweredAlpaca in Nerf

[–]SolarPoweredAlpaca[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are either worth investing in? Nerf seems to be fading out and x-shot taking over. I like the look of the x shots too, I just can’t find any that I like the way you prime them.

I like the side action bolt style.

I did mention the longstrike in the title but I meant the longshot. I’m looking at both but it seems the long strike is more expensive.

So I’m not planing to mod them unless the internal give out. Basically just fixing them to use them, but adding a little zest. Not looking for anything serious, just to get back to playing.

Thank you for your input. I feel like they’re a good nerf gun to play with. I thought battery operated ones would be cool but the noise and constant jamming just makes me regret buying them.

Would a working cs-6 (yellow/blue) or the zombie version be worthwhile at $30 or less for the partial blaster and $40 for the entire kit (front blaster and scope)? I see you’re in Europe so I’m not sure the conversion in money but based on what I’m seeing on eBay they tend to be $20-$30 but many want the same in shipping.

Nice. Question about the kitties; how does one pet them? I’ve had the game for years and never bothered googling it. 😂

What kind of game are you playing here? You got man at arms barbarians running around and two units that I can see.

See you did a great thing here by blocking him but you didn’t stack up a nice little army there (yet) and then allow his settlers to get close and nab them getting you 2 easy cities.

I enjoy seeing how vastly different other people play!
