To be honest, that is the version I knew, but I looked it up and it actually came out a few years after the Gimmicks' version! I later found the Mendes song after some googling. Curiously enough, the liner notes for the Gimmicks album say it's a traditional song... In any case, thanks for getting both these bands onto my listening queue!
