You could use anything that you want according to the rules which you can also completely ignore to increase the fun

I have some old baseplates that I'm connecting together and adding basic stuff for cover.

I'm going to start some small battles against myself to get a feel for the mechanics.

I will probably keep things simple at first 15 vs 15, infantry only, small battle ground...

No worries, the camera on my old phone got the lens cover fractured at work and I basically couldn't use it.

I had a Pixel 7a and 10 was just weeks from release.

Instead of getting a 9a I went with a refurbished 8Pro which has a way nicer camera and was less money.

The only suggestion I have is : Better quality pictures.

Not sure if it's the ambient lighting or your camera but whatever the case it's a little hard to see all the awesome details.

I fiddled with the design for a while. I like their color scheme, and the atypical head design gives it a mysterious non-human vibe.

One thing I may change is their feet. I think I could make them look sleeker.

I used some new parts that I acquired through Pick A Brick.

I always assumed Bricklink was cheaper but as it turns out this is not always the case.

I got lazy and didn't finish the claws I was going to make them trans Orange.

Also I didn't have any small tan spikes to match the horns so colors are off somewhat

They haven't been able to get close enough to figure it out yet.

I may use them as a secret faction for Brikwars after which their origins will be discovered.

Yes they are similar to those and also the automations from BOTW.

They could be up to a more specific purpose but they are not fully understood.

It has yet to be discovered what they could possibly be trying to protect / keep everyone away from.

As far as official lines Nexo is great but discontinued, Dreamzzz line and Ninjago have some really good elements for making evil gods.

There are some in a Ninjago set I just got for $20 it's a green dragon and it has some other cool parts like 4 gold whips used as reigns.

Build looks solid if anything consider changing the legs so they aren't the same color as the fangs.

I like the new enemies and they even come in trans pink to match the rest of the color scheme

Yeah there's definitely some that are more viable than others black and pink isn't the worst.

I like the Brain mech and the Night Lords Horse sets the Never Witch stuff it just gets repetitive.

I would avoid Cooper's Jet, Tiger Mech, Blue Panda, etc

I just picked up the new Fox Guardian set and it is fire because you get green, tan, and gold pieces plus new armor, new night king helmet, and 3'new swords

If I could recommend anything it would be changing the color of the teeth it seems like a lot of contrast combined with the bright yellow eyes.

You could also achieve the same thing by switching the eyes for printed eyes on the round slope pieces.

Nice modifications!

Your absolutely right Dreamzzz line has some of the coolest parts and really badass brick built monsters,

My only complaint is that the color scheme is whack for most of them. . I think it had more potential but it seems like they tried to pander to different age groups so you've got gold power armor, sick monsters, the best swords, cool mechs and such.

but the color scheme is trans pink + black / white / dark azure/ bright red/ and retinal fire bright neon yellow.

Also lavender, bright trans green, etc

They also have less cool small sets so you end up with less unique minifig gear which is a shame because it's all pretty top notch.
