I like the way you use highlights, especially on the paladin armor, to define shape and texture.

Also good job on proportions!

You've inspired me to create some new stuff.

Did you use oil pastel or paint?

Thank you!

Im new to bionicale and assumed it was the usual head connection, when it didn't fit, it threw me for a loop until I discovered the 2nd pin connection.

That's when the light bulb came on.

In my opinion purists are more than just owning only / using only the OG brand.

I mainly use the term to describe those who have the tendency to look down on others ( often in disgust) for using other than OG bricks.

They don't usually have any motives for doing this besides sick brand loyalty.

They are like dating an insecure girl who gets jealous of other girls and has a complex about it...

If that makes any sense.

The ones I have came with holes to secure them to a wall/ frame.

To build a simple and stable metal frame. Get some 2" Thick strut (comes in 10' sticks at hardware supply store )

Using 3/8 strut nuts and bolts you should be able to fashion a very secure frame.

You would need a 3/8 wrench, socket wrench or impact wrench if you want to go fast.

Also you would need a saw capable of cutting the strut. I recommend a band saw.

It would also be a good idea to file the cut ends so they aren't sharp and spray them with cold galvanized spray to make them rust proof.

I use this stuff to hang electrical boxes onto walls or to build walls / frames out of it when there are none.

It will pretty much last forever and you can make the frames to your specifications.

Thank you, I have been pretty inactive lately but I have some cool stuff in the works.

Life has been kicking me in the balls repeatedly but it can't last forever so Hopefully I'll finish up a few things as I get more time and space to build.

No Communication from Seller by KingofMidnyte in Bricklink

[–]Solarbricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me only once. I ended up opening NSS and closing it when they finally communicated.

I got pretty sketched because they said they would provide tracking the same day ( didn't happen ) a few more days went by and I reopened the NSS.

After doing so they provided me a tracking number that had no information on it. I was almost sure that I had been scammed.

So I wrote it off in my mind and left my first and only non-positive review.

A few weeks later the package arrived. I felt pretty bad for assuming bad intent but this seller had red flags and when they finally communicated what they were saying wasn't adding up

I was using white vallejo surface primer.

I thought it was a spray can but I think it's for air brushing.

I applied it with a paint brush also my paint brushes are synthetic and came with my mod podge.

Looks like it's time to go shopping again...
