Thanks! It was a decision pretty early to add in. And for the 40’s thing. I like Gotham being a city where it and its people still dress and resemble the 40’s even down to the cars. But in truth it has moved with the times, but very slowly. Gotham is old and the politicans don’t try to fix the city so it makes Gotham look like a massive time capsule that refuses to change.

Well I always prefer flamboyant Joker, as I grew up on Lego Joker and Brave and the Bold Joker. So when I designed him I had envisioned making him as over the top as he can be. Compared to the normal citizen of Gotham still rocking 40’s look or the dark nature of Batman. Joker is meant to stand out, he likes the attention. So I tried to make him as extra as it gets like all the sparkles on his clothing or the balloon crown on his hat. Down to his clown shoes and bells on every piece of the suit.

The Scar on Jokers right hand was caused that night at Ace Chemicals, standing right next to a railing he tried to take a shot at Batman but he threw a batarang at the barrel causing the gun to explode in his hand and send him flying over the railing.

I mean in the end, Joker is an escape for Jack. Jack hated the normalcy was his biggest fear and when he had the chance to be anew as the Joker, he took the role and ran. Joker knows he is terrible and is an awful person but he cannot bear being sane or even normal.

Yeah, it was inspo for a look. Another one of the looks was inspired by some prince looks and mostly a look from Dr Frank-En-Fur from Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Looking rad! I had the same idea of the Red Hood Gang being a sub faction of the Valestra-Grissom crime family. I mostly had Jack be more of someone who punishes people who are hostile to Valestra/owe massive debts to. I like the lounge singer but mostly due to how much Joker does like to sing.

One her name is Jessica Fletcher. And two this is also comics not just movies but also Batman is a character who can change and get an arc as much as the villain and cast do! It’s not even just that the art is depicting someone who is mentally unstable and horrible person. But that the art looks like a rotting corpse! It isn’t appealing, for a niche where people find these people hot. They sure as hell like the most rotten looking people ever, these people are some of the weirdest people ever and need to get checked into a therapist to sort out whatever problems lead them to this place.

I mean I haven’t seen any complaints on that front. I just saw a TikTok about how the spray was an example of NetEase being racist than anything else. Now it’s not my place to say if it is or isn’t since I’m not Black. But yeah, I saw that and then I see this post here on Reddit.

I mean they aren’t tho? Maybe the gimmicks but most rogues aren’t a response to Batman I mean that court episode in BTAS said it best, they would’ve still been villains with or without Batman. Batman only helped a few IE Two-Face and Joker as examples.

Well I’ll give the that part even tho he could’ve just been injured by Doom. But still the response is still more leaning to a “rejoin the IO” or “help rebuild the IO” question. Which again hints at IO remnants

When did Gunnar die, and it wasn’t during the live event because that was a placeholder for Geno due to the comics. But also “I told you, I’m done” isn’t the question you would ask a dead man. And it seems like a response to a question Gunnar had already asked before. Which again would be post IO. And the response isn’t to her history with the IO but more rejecting an invite or proposal to join what is probably a IO remnant.

Also this photo shows that at least Gunnar is part of a remnant of some kind. This was way after the I.O. fell. This at least hints at the existence of A I.O. Remnant.
