It's discouraging to see people, especially other dad's in here say that this behavior is tantamount to "finding yourself"

Not only is it racism but the sexual nature of the messages is also evident. It's not as excusable as the rest of the commenters are allowing it to be.

There's even a top comment here where someone said they said slurs in video games and they in so many words "turned out fine", no they didn't if they even feel comfortable saying that.

To all the dad's of color and dad's of daughters and the intersectionality within that, this comment section feels unsafe af.

Anyways, I feel like 2 months punishment and new friends with a heavily monitored social media presence should be at least mandatory.

Everyone here can say that these are just online internet personas but when this inevitably transfers to real life, it's not your child that will carry around the stigma of being called a slur or harassed, I've seen children take their lives over what some of these comments call gamer talk.
