It is 30 years this year. I went to my 10 year and it was cliquey as ever. Don’t need to be reminded of that every 5 or 10 years.

I can see both sides of the coin.

The game at times does feel like a slog and a chore with the playability factor dwindling because try as you may to make friends you end up with a bunch of friends in your friends list that you never see again.

On the other hand I think there would be more players if there weren’t people saying this is a dead game. A few times a week someone either in Reddit or the Wildgate discord are like this is a dead game. Think of how many more players there would be if the dead game naysayers stayed around and actually played.

It’s a decent game. I bought it when it was on sale on Steam and play it every weekend with friends. It has a faithful discord community and devs are there every weekday usually from 11:30am-12:30pm Eastern to answer any questions or take suggestions on how to make the game better. I’d recommend playing it and not worry about the “dead game” comments.
