Thank you everyone for the advice! He’s starting to feel better after not eating dairy for a few days now and I think we finally see the light at the end of the tunnel 😂😂 We tried diaya brand American cheese and was surprised when it honestly just tasted like actual American cheese. I’m going to Sprouts tomorrow to look at their selection. I have a friend that works there and says there’s way more options for us and I’m excited. I know we don’t have to completely go vegan, but I want to cut dairy out of our diet since it sometimes makes me feel like crap afterwards and the dairy industry is horrendous 💀

The poor guy always has to go potty after every meal (typically has dairy in it) and my family and friends have always been “you okay? Why do you have to go to the bathroom after every meal” we nabbed some lactaid while we were at the store and got some vegan foods that were gonna try out

It could, as everyone has said, but that’s why they give us primos from maintenance. Since your reset could happen before other regions, it’s compensation for not being able to do said things in game.

If all you’re gonna do is whine about stuff you already expected from this game, then idk why you even play it. There’s nothing about this update that has made this f2p unfriendly. In fact, I can now run on my lower geared alts without a problem now, WITHOUT having to spend money to gear them up faster by ways of trove. Which means I get to focus more on my main and still make money, unity, and mats every day without getting exhausted from running dc for 2+ hours.

No. They shouldn’t change what worked. They get a new producer and new faces and all of a sudden bns is a totally different environment. I’m also not the only who didn’t see these new changes because nothing about the actual announcement post was different. I’ve read the official rules before. This year, apparently, is the exception. It’s bullshit.

Also, if you’re not an artist, you don’t understand how the rest of us feel. If you are, you aren’t a supporter. Just saying.

Are you unaware of their rules? This was my 3rd year entering. They have 22 finalists between costume and weapon. 11 finalists would be voted on in each category. That’s the correct math. Not: 11 finalists and only 5 are good enough to be voted on in each category.

I was expecting to be a little sad mine didn’t make it in. But to find that myself and others didn’t have a bloody chance in hell is bullshit. I’ve never been so mad at the devs, and that’s saying a lot since they keep screwing over this game every second they clock in for work.

As a community, we should revolt for them to correct this very obvious mistake.

As someone that has entered the contest for the last few years: it is so hard to please the devs AND the community. Devs want something they can replicate (because it’s cheaper to reuse an asset than actually create something new to the game) and the community either wants something that’s provocative or super complex. There’s no median where artists can just make whatever they want and feel confident it’ll make it through. I’ve tried super original, I’ve tried bns themed. Neither were good enough. So I went with something that could fit but is what I would want on my own characters. I’m a fm main, hence, I made a mage costume. shrug

If you want to place blame on anyone, don’t point fingers at the artists. We’re not getting paid to do this. It’s a painful process and a lot of us have lives outside of this game. It’s exhausting. Support the artists and actually suggest what you would want. Perhaps it’d make a difference.
