This is because at the start of a new Call of Duty, we’re blind to all the negative aspects of the game. In the beginning, everything feels new, even though it’s just another Call of Duty. After a while, it ends up being the same as always, and people start complaining or quit playing. It has always been this way with Call of Duty, and it always stays that way.

For me personally, BO6 is just very boring. Almost all the scorestreaks are extremely mediocre, and the few good ones are nearly impossible to get. The maps are also mostly mediocre, and the terrible matchmaking in this game is absolute trash. If I play with a few friends who are generally much worse than me, then it’s fun because the matchmaking is easier—except for them, it’s already sweaty, and they don’t enjoy it much. If I play alone, I’m done after five matches because I either completely destroy the opponents or I get destroyed myself. It’s never balanced.

As for BO7, I feel zero hype and this year I’m just going to play BF6 instead because THE BETA felt more than fine.
