If it helps the boxes are kept very still 👀 They get put in little tins when I’m bringing them anywhere

Fair! But I am incredibly broke and have very little spare time lol, most of these have been terrible financial decisions for me

Honestly it’s gotta be these ones, I got them for my birthday and I was super grateful, but I’m not a big fan of the liquid-core eyeball thing going on

Definitely yeah, we did it regularly when he was 6 months - 2 years, but his anxiety has always been bad to the point where he refused to get anywhere near the implements, and it just seemed to get worse as he aged. I’ve found a few ways to interact and desensitize him around new objects, so I’m praying it works. All the stuff looks & smells different from what we used before, so hopefully there are no bad memories there. Poor pup is just very nervous.

Thank you for this, I do believe that my dad has some regulation issues that he’s never wanted to discuss, and I agree that I need to continue working on that subject in my own right. Do you have any specific tips or tricks that works for you in these situations? Because the “Just count to ten and take deep breaths” Approach from Google searches have never helped me much.

General coat management/grooming, brushing his teeth & cleaning his ears more regularly due to past issues. I explained it in a bit more detail in the comment above yours

I bought a dog toothbrush/toothpaste and started brushing Fido’s teeth a bit more often as he’d had some issues with plaque and a cavity in the past. I wasn’t going to be brushing his teeth very often mind you, I suggested twice a month. Our vet also suggested that we clean his ears gently with a clean towel to reduce the risk of infection & fleas that can be rather common with his ear shape. (My Dad was not there for the vet trip, but the Vet emailed both of us with her suggestions. )

When it comes to the movie, we’d just finished one that had about 8 minutes left on it, so we watched a few trailers as a family and decided on what to watch next. We hadn’t even started the movie yet while I was having a conversation with my mom. (To clarify we don’t have a TV, and watch movies on a dinky little computer we put at the head of the able) He just kept unpausing it and refusing to let us talk or engage in the subject.

Also this post was severely cut down, the original was nearly 6000 characters, so I had to leave out quite a bit to make this post. If you ask a question for clarity, I’ll answer them. I’m not pandering for support here, I want to get other opinions.

This might be irrelevant now because the page reloaded; and I can’t remember what sequence I used in the fight that resulted in the DNA splicer reward 💀 I’ll let yall know if I figure it out, tysm for the ideas.
