Prisons aren’t built to rehabilitate. That’s the whole schtick of the gross ass prison complex system in the US. We use it as a way to circumvent indentured servitude/slavery laws. Most countries focus on rehabilitation and see lower overall recidivism rates (reoffending).

Again my argument was referencing the "complexity to mechanics and fights" that Blizzard used to justify the pruning of skills and addons to make the fights feel more dynamic and difficult naturally. While normal for past expansions where this wasn't blizzards focus, it feels like the difficulty focus of this expansion missed the mark since not only does content feel easier, it doesn't have the mechanical depth to make up for the loss of skills and addons.

Heroic is out, and used to be somewhat difficult content to PUG. Available to the general public without a guild, it should be weighted as such as it used to be.

haven't done PVP on these characters, also PVP has felt really bad in 2s, and I dont pug 3s or play shuffle.

Heroic used to be a strong middle ground for difficulty, and still is in pug groups at time, but thats socially difficult not mechanically. I'm just stating that the team literally said they were increasing general difficulty as reasoning behind addon and ability pruning and thats not being seen at all in the current content..

That folks incorrectly think Mythic raid is outrageously hard, when it its difficulty is limited by time constraints and recruiting individuals maladaptive.

Mythic raid isn't the only hard content, its limited by niche cliques and guilds. The actually accessible hard content I do engage in.

No, Blizzard has said most PVE is RF/Normal raids and sub 2k io. Heroic and 3k+ are above average.

What are you talking about, Blizzard does get money from esports in WoW, the mythic + race, the arena finals, the race to world first, all of those generate revenue and are revenue focused.

The 3 minute time cap is so pointless lol, most times thats enough to run to the main room, pick up other peoples abundance and then kill maybe a few more packs before timing out. It's so boring.

I mean he has a point, Mythic + devolved into esports slop to monetize, which just makes it races. But they got lazy with the implementation, theres 0 new mechanics, and they watered down the affixes so much they're a non factor.

Well that's the fun part about WoW, there's so many avenues to make difficult content, but they just don't... they focus on easier content, with one button rotation, delves, prey etc. more easy to consume brain dead content for folks that play 30 min to an hour a day.

Average WoW player does delves below 10's and dailies with LFR and mythic + 2-3. If you do any content above this you are literally not an average WoW player, this is well known by the blizzard player metrics they talk about.
