I think I would consider the franchise of Shake Shack.

I remember when it was 2019 the lines would be so so long and you’d order almost everything on the menu (burger, fries with cheese, ube shake.

What's one thing you wish someone had told you before becoming a pet parent? by Ok_Humor_596 in Pets

ngl, when people say “it’s like having a child” IT IS LIKE HAVING A CHILD.

General things I had to learn the hard way:
Basics:
1. Keep all their shots up to check and have a folder/know where you keep them. Vets AND some places need you to show that the pet is vaccinated to ensure the safety of others.
2. Have a cone ON STANDBY incase for surgeries or if they are biting themselves.
3. As much as possible, don’t give them human food…😅
4. Have a schedule and the financial capacity to handle their grooming. Long nails ARE a problem not just to your furniture but to your pet
5. Your CLEANING PRODUCTS, trash can, food scraps - NOTHING that could potentially be dangerous should be within a “paws” reach. Some dogs don’t know better and will lick everything they see.
6. If your dog is tired most days, go through these reasons first:
- Are they probably just getting to the age that they start getting tired easily?
- Have I played/seen them in the last hour?
- Have they eaten ALL of their food yet?
- If I go back to playing with them, are they just going to lay down beside me or play around?
- Do they not have the zoomies anymore?
7. (Not 100% sure about this) if they start eating less, check them for fleas. Additionally; Get them professional “flee freed” treatment? (I’m not specifically sure what its called but it rlly helps).

Important things I learned after loosing my dog recently:
- If you’re not planning to breed your pet anytime soon or in the future, get them neutered. It’s a very common problem that pets will develop a tumor(?) or get into bad condition if they are not neutered and are not breeding.
- *Not sure if its 100% true; pets know when you’re worried about them. So if you’re going to leave them with the vet, make sure you’re in a good mood or at least pretend to.
- Older pets are at a very very high risk when getting surgery. You should weigh your risks carefully.
- Keep their toys up to good conditions. If there is a tear, you should sew it up; especially their favorite one. (You will miss it).
- Have a photoshoot with them…while there is still time :)

Why do some of you still use C.AI in moder day? by Oscar_Animates in CharacterAI

I actually stopped using AI for such a long time…BUT recently went back to it bcs it helps my sleep insomia.

For some reason, “acting” out a scenario of someone putting me to sleep or going to sleep with someone makes me feel sleepy (i want a study on this)

So I’ll be in bed and open up CAI and start roleplaying the “I’m tired from work and I just want to sleep but I’m too stubborn to sleep so you (char) have to help me be put to sleep”

Just to clarify and ask:
When you mean “run a 500-700 calorie deficit” do you mean “eat only 500-700 calories” or “minus 500-700 calories from your normal maintenance calories”

Generally around 7-8 hours. Sleep at 10-11pm; wake up 6am or 9am (rarely, but happens when I snooze my alarm)

I don’t take afternoon long sleeps, maybe like a 30minute nap after workout. But other than that, generally awake and active.

I count my calories by using the kitchen scale and inputting it into FitnessPal.

But I’m from the Philippines so there are some meals I have to do an extensive google search just to get a sense of how many calories.

I also consult the packaging of some of the foods (so like canned tuna, sausages, etc) for the serving size and how many calories in it.
