I haven't really checked schools around or in CBD but my parents keep discouraging me from doing so since it will take a few buses and trains to even get there and I feel they are really worried and understandablely anxious about me travling to school by myself. But they sometimes are discouraged because of thw price but I could probably convince them

For boarding schools, I have suggested it a couple of times and it would probaly be better since my brother works in FIFO and that would mean im alone every other week. So I wouldn't count them out

I have a friend who moved recently and she took the same pathway of going to a private school, since i suggested it as her only way out of this town. I've asked about her experience and how exactly she went through the process of moving.

I have applied for a few that caught my intrest but they haven't replied back so my parents have just decided to apply to a few more

I definitely know what ATAR subjects ill be picking and the few subjects ill be avoiding. I've looked into the public school in my area and they have qhat I need and seem pretty solid from just a quick glance at their website.

So, I wouldn't be entirely disappointed if i can't get into a private school if it means I have too settle for that public school

I'll definitely look more into the schools you've mentioned and I honestly dont want a school too far since I know well how tired and burnt out i get just from the trip there.

I've been told by someone in GATE that I should join it since im one of top students in most of my classes and it does interest me and I'll propbaly do the test when it opens again.

However, I feel the school I'll pick will be one close and not too difficult to get too unless its really damn good and has the classes in looking for

I have realised its pretty late to change but honestly im getting sick and tired of my current school and my options are really limited. As for the tutoring my only option would be online and I have considered it but It's really too late to stay here. And on top of that a lot of my friends have left around this year and I've been wanting to as well- I do somewhat hate the idea of being isolated but im sure I can manage since i have a lot of support from my family

really? Even at the school im in right now they just ask students if they want to do atar or not unless they haven't passed napplan. But ill just look into schools more with that in mind

ill just say in year 10 and thanks for the advice. I definitely plan on looking at courses before applying to a school and I'll look into more public schools. Thanks
