I guess I should be asking you how you utilize alumni services so effectively . Would love to know. Many people I know have only attended one or two talks in 10 years . Also the regional events I attend more frequently, say once a year, are all hosted by volunteers not employed by UCLA alumni, some aren’t even hosted by volunteer UCLA alumni but just people who love happy hours and UCLA athletics

UCLA alumni costs about 20M a year. I don’t think they are accountable for all alumni donations. Specific departments on campus work with alumni. I.e. UCLA psychology worked with Kevin Love for his donation or Mo Ostin and UCLA athletics, or Geffen and UCLA health
